How to apply for a property
Once you have been through the property please download the application form above, complete ALL sections, sign and email to us at enquiries@careproperties.co.nz as soon as possible. Applications are processed weekdays only. If your application is not complete or your references are hard to reach this will delay the process and may lead to someone else getting the property. Once processed we will contact you to advise if you have been successful or not. If yes, then we will email you lease documents to be signed and returned the same day. Should an application not be accepted, the agent is not required or obligated to disclose why or supply any reason this. Move in Costs
3 weeks bond + 1 week rent is payable on acceptance of this application. A letting fee equal to 1 weeks rent + GST is payable before keys are handed to tenant at the start of the lease. Please ensure all payments are referenced with the lease holder’s surname & property address. Insurance You’re liable for any damage you or your invited guests cause, intentionally or carelessly. Inspections CARE carries out property inspections approx 6-8 weeks after you have moved in then, 3 - 4 monthly thereafter (dependant on contractual & insurance requirements). We email you the week before the inspection to inform you of our visit so please make sure we are kept up to date with your current email address. You do not have to be present at the inspection as your property manager will let themselves into the property. If there are items that need your attention, we will advise you in writing and conduct a subsequent inspection the following month.
